Job description

In your new role you will:

  • Provide answers to the most challenging questions in product design
  • Reveal user needs by conducting research, exploring user behavior and motivation, and working on a diverse number of digital experiences
  • Work closely with designers, product managers and developers to uncover user insights and provide feedback to appropriate parties, representing the users’ voice
  • Contribute research and perspective through the entire product design cycle, from planning to implementation to post-release (planning, recruitment, facilitation, analysis, presentation)
  • Create methodologies and best practices around building research into the everyday work of creating digital experiences

Your Profile

You are a self-motivated individual who is personally committed to the concerns of our internal and external customers. Other than that, you have a good sense for current trends and see potential obstacles as an incentive and opportunity for constant improvements.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • degree in communication studies, cognitive science, media design, (business) informatics or similar
  • At least 3-5 years of related industry experience combined with a degree HCI, psychology, social science or a related field
  • Fluency in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies (e.g. usability testing, interviewing, questionnaire development)
  • Ability to develop creative approaches to researching complex user experience problems
  • Acute attention to detail, analytical and self-motivated
  • Excellent observation skills and quick comprehension
  • Fluent in English, German as a plus
