What’s a Smashing Conference Like?

SmashingConf New York is a friendly, inclusive event which is focused on real-world problems and solutions. The whole event takes place over 4 days, with 2 workshop days with 6 practical workshops, and 2 conference days. The conference is single track with 12 speakers, 300–400 friendly attendees and a handful of side events.

Our talks are not just showcases: our smashing speakers show how they work — their setup, techniques and shortcuts for getting work done in live interactive sessions. So expect everything from collaborative Figma projects to “this-is-how-we-code”-sessions, live.

SmashingConf New York is focused on Front-end and UX, and covers quite a range of topics from modern CSS to interface design. Our audience is super smashing, and ranges from junior UX'ers to senior developers. That means you'll go home with not only a bundle of diverse, actionable insights for your work, but also with many new friends.
